Camila Astaburuaga
Camila is Senior Portfolio Manager for EFGAM’s New Capital fixed income funds and member of Fixed Income Research team, having joined EFGAM in September 2012. She focuses on fixed income portfolio management, strategy and trading. Camila is a member of the Fixed Income Asset Allocation Committee which determines strategic positioning for the New Capital fund range, institutional accounts and discretionary offerings. She became Co-Portfolio Manager for both the New Capital Wealthy Nations Bond Fund and the New Capital Global Value Fund in 2017 and also co-manages a suite of fixed maturity products.
Prior to joining the firm, Camila worked at Principal Global Investors where she held risk and fixed income research positions.
Camila holds a BSc in Finance and Business Administration from Universidad Catolica de Chile, the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is a CFA Charterholder.
