Michael Leithead
Michael is Head of Fixed Income and Senior Portfolio Manager at EFGAM, having joined EFG in 2007. He manages the New Capital Wealthy Nations Bond Fund and the New Capital Global Value Credit Fund as well as a suite of fixed maturity products and segregated accounts. Michael focuses primarily on global fixed income fund management, fixed income strategy and trading.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked at Fidelity International from 2003 to 2007 where he held several risk management roles and was responsible for both equity and fixed income derivative valuations.
Michael holds a BSc in Economics from Birmingham University, the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), the CFA UK Certificate in ESG Investing and is a CFA Charterholder.
