Michele Malingamba
Michele joined EFG Asset Management in May 2017 as part of EFG International’s acquisition of BSI and is responsible for the New Capital Japan Equity Fund. He joined BSI in 1996 as a Portfolio Manager and from 1998 was the PM for the BSI-Multinippon Swiss domiciled fund. He also managed the Luxembourg BSI-Multinvest – Japanese Stocks Fund which has been renamed New Capital Fund Lux - Japanese Stocks. Prior to joining BSI Michele worked as analyst for Japan and South East Asia and was the Portfolio Manager for Asian equities and Global Convertibles for Banca del Gottardo.
Michele holds a BA and a Masters in Economics from the University of Zurich. He has received several awards during his career.
