Urs Beck
Urs Beck joined EFG Asset Management in 2014 to launch the New Capital Swiss Select Equity Fund. He started his investment career with a decade working on the sell side, with roles at UBS, Bank Leu, Julius Baer and ZKB. While at the latter firm, he moved over to the buy side in 2007, becoming head of Swiss equities and running the group’s Aktien Schweiz aktiv SPI portfolio until the end of 2013. During his tenure, the vehicle outperformed its benchmark every year apart from 2011 and Beck won the FERI award for best Swiss equities fund in 2013 and 2014.
